Tricks to get links to appear the way you want them

Did you know that Apple has updated how links appear in SMS with the latest update of IOS 10?

Are you aware of the different approaches? Previously, a link became a hyperlink, but as of the last update the link appears as follows:

If the link is located at the beginning or end of the message and in www format, there is no difference and appears as text;

If the link is in the middle of the message, whether it starts with http:// or www formatted, there will be no difference but will be seen as text;

If there’s more than one link, they appear as text and clickable links;

However, if the link is at the beginning or end of the message and is in http:// format, it becomes a hyperlink that retrieves any image from the landing page.

We recommend that you do not use link shortcuts in text messaging, all in order to make your costumers feel confident that you are the sender.
