LINK Mobility Italy & ADDECO Italy in collaboration for GDPR compliance

Strong collaboration between Adecco Italy, belonging to the Adecco Group, and LINK Mobility Italy resulted in stunning GDPR-related campaign. We’ve interviewed Daniele Preda, Managing Director of LINK Mobility Italy.

Daniele, you are managing LINK Mobility Italy. Can you please say a few words about the company?

Daniele Preda: LINK Mobility Italy, founded in 1996, is the Italian leader in providing application-to-person messaging thanks to a carrier-grade integrated platform.

We have the distinction of two world records: we were the first SMS provider on a global level and we built the world’s first Mobile Internet service, allowing any mobile GSM user, no matter the terminal, to receive email push notifications, well before the implementation of mobile data transport, on devices as well as on mobile network .

Can you please describe Adecco?

Daniele Preda: The Adecco Group offers a wide variety of services that include temporary staffing, permanent placement, career transition and talent development, as well as outsourcing and consulting. The Adecco Group key markets are France, North America, UK & Ireland, Japan, Germany, Austria, Italy, Benelux, Nordics, Iberia, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland.

Tell me about the circumstances of the collaboration? How did it happen Adecco contacted LINK Mobility Italy?

Daniele Preda: I believe we all felt the sentiment related to GDPR before May 25th. Many companies at the time were looking for a trustworthy communication partner to answer difficult questions and go through the new procedures. Same happened with Adecco – they contacted us to create a campaign and inform their clients about the new privacy regulations.

How big the traffic was?

Daniele Preda: We have managed to send 2 million SMS messages in a very short time to all Adecco’s clients across Italy.

What made Adecco impressed in LINK Mobility services?

Daniele Preda: Everyone involved in the process from Adecco side were extremely satisfied and granted for the work we have done here in Italy. They appreciated fast response and high-quality expertise. From the very beginning, starting from first drafts, testing phase, working on content – Adecco representatives stressed our proactive approach. Furthermore, the forwarding speed of the entire system was also appreciated.
