The American venture capital fund Abry Partners has acquired LINK Mobility Group for NOK 3.396 billion, equivalent to €357.808 million. After the takeover bid launched in July this year by the American venture capital fund Abry Partners on LINK Mobility Group, the transaction has successfully been closed. Victory Partners VIII Norway AS (the “Offeror”), a company indirectly owned by funds administered by ABRY Partners III LLC (“Abry”), has acquired 14,729,293 shared in LINK Mobility, accounting for approximately 97.57% of the LINK Mobility shares which have been issued and are in circulation. Victory Partners intends to make a mandatory acquisition of the remaining shares in LINK Mobility at a price equivalent to the offer price of NOK 225 per share as soon as possible. The American venture capital fund Abry Partners has thus acquired LINK Mobility Group, the largest provider of mobile solutions geared at companies in the Spanish and European markets.

Development of the takeover bid
The transaction agreement through which Abry Partners launched a voluntary cash offer to acquire all the share capital issued by LINK Mobility for 225.00 Norwegian Kroner (NOK) per share was announced in July this year. It valued LINK Mobility’s total share capital issued and in circulation at approximately 3.396 billion Norwegian Kroner, equivalent to €357 million. The Board of Directors of LINK Mobility unanimously recommended the company’s shareholders to accept the offer.
